Program Details
All groups/classes meet for 7 weeks.
Session I: September 10 - October 26
Session II: October 29 - December 21
(No class November 19 - 23.)
Fees: $350 per 7-week session.
All groups/classes meet for 6 weeks.
**Full payment is due at the time of registration. In the
event your child misses a class, every effort will be made to offer a
make-up class. **Sibling discount available.

Program Leaders
All small group classes/programs are designed by directors of TLTC and licensed therapists. Classes are led by Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists, Behavioral Optometrists, Psychologists, Educators, Vision Therapists and other certified staff members. All programs are designed to meet both individual and group needs.
Parent Support Groups
Led by a psychologist or social worker, these support sessions offer parents an opportunity to receive support, share information and gain valuable resources. Call for current offerings and fees.
Class Descriptions
The EDGE Learning System - Enhancing
Development for Gains in Education
This 45-minute group will enhance your child’s
motor, speech, reading, math, social and visual skills to improve grades,
performance and self-esteem. All groups are designed by professionals for
maximum learning effect.
- Ages 6-8: Tuesdays, 5:15-6:00 pm
- Ages 9-12: Tuesdays, 6:15-7:00 pm
Emotions in Motion - Sensory-Motor Groups
Children will benefit from this 45-minute weekly
program incorporating creative arts and yoga principles. A variety of
materials will be used to facilitate the connection between sensation and
emotional regulation. Emphasis on breath control, rhythm and posture will
also improve organizational, sensory processing and social skills.

Handwriting Without Tears
This multi-sensory approach to developing and
enhancing handwriting skills appeals to children with all kinds of
learning styles – visual, auditory, tactile and kinesthetic. The unique
materials and creative workbooks assist to eliminate problems with letter
formation, reversals, legibility, spacing and cursive connections.
- Ages 3-5: Mondays 3-3:45 pm
- Ages 6-8: Tuesdays 5:30-6:15 pm
- Ages 8-10: Mondays 5-5:45 pm
Language Exploration
Explore and enhance your child's language skills with this 45-minute weekly group through theme-based activities and play. Children will have fun and learn while participating with new friends. Caregiver must be present.
- Ages 2-5: Fridays, 10:00-10:45 am
The Social EDGE
These 1-hour sessions focus on improving social
skills of students through interactive activities in a therapeutic
environment. Groups are arranged according to peer age and individual
needs. Activities focus on developing play skills, language and
communication skills, body language, sensorimotor skills, controlling
emotions and social flexibility.
- Ages 3-5: Tuesdays, 5:15-6:00 pm
- Ages 6-9: Wednesdays, 5:30-6:15 pm
- Ages 10-12: Wednesdays, 6:15 am-7:00

- Ages 13 and up: By appointment
Creative Writing
Learn how to plan, write, edit and publish a piece of creative writing. Students will bring a rough draft to a detailed, edited and finalized piece of work.
- Ages 7-10: Mondays, 4:00-4:45 pm
Expressions in ART
Students will engage in visual, auditory and tactile experiences (enhancing sensory processing skills) while creating personal designs. Emphasis will be on individual expression, relaxation techniques and recreation. Students of all abilities are welcome.
- Ages 3-5: Thursdays, 1:45-2:30 pm
- Ages 5-7: Thursdays, 2:30-3:15 or 3:15-4:00 pm
- Ages 7-10: Thursdays, 4:00-4:00 pm or 4:45-5:30 pm
- Ages 10-12: Thursdays, 5:30-6:15 pm or 6:15-7:00 pm
Food Critics
(Food Aversion Group)
This group is designed for children who have developed aversions to certain foods and who are not interested in trying new tastes. Using therapeutic strategies, positive encouragement and family training, children will slowly begin exploring new foods. Parents may be asked to bring in small amounts of family chosen foods to class.
- Ages 2-5: Mondays, 1:30-2:15 pm
- Ages 6-9: Tuesdays, 4:45-5:30 pm
- Ages 4-6: Mondays, 3:45-4:30 pm
Special Parties for Special Kids
Therapeutic themed parties include sensory activities,
fine and gross motor games, social skills & language facilitation
while having fun!
